A roundtable discussion on energy upgrading of public buildings through EPC took place on 5 July 2018 in Athens! The event was hosted by AEGEA in cooperation with the Energy Policy and Energy Efficiency Dpt of the Ministry of Environment and Energy and with the support of DAFNI Network, in the framework of the Interreg-MED project STEPPING, member of the Efficient Buildings Community!
The discussion was particularly constructive, highlighting specific barriers but also the enabling factors and concrete next steps that need to be taken for the uptake of the EPC market in Greece.
The event brought together very important stakeholders, i.e. national and regional authorities, ESCOs, financing institutions, sectoral agencies and helped pave the way for the elaboration of EPC investment plans in the Greek pilots, in the framework of STEPPING project!
